Yao Suping

Yao Suping, a well-known nonferrous metallurgy expert, currently she is the   senior technical director of Nerin, a national design master, an expert enjoying special allowances from the State Council, a professor-level senior engineer, and a state-level registered metallurgical engineer.

She has presided over many domestic and foreign large projects such as Yanggu Xiangguang Copper project, Guixi Smelter project and BHP Billiton Australia ODX project, as well as some major scientific and technological projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology.

She has been awarded one 2nd-prize of National Science and Technology Progress Medal, four 1st-Prize of Jiangxi Provincial and Ministerial Science and Technology Progress Medal, one Gold Award of National Excellent Engineering Design, four 1st-Prize of Jiangxi Provincial and Ministerial Excellent Engineering Design. She also has been rated one of national outstanding science and technology workers and one of technology innovation leaders of national survey and design industry. She has been granted many patents of invention and utility model.

She has edited two national standards, "Technical Design Specification of Copper Smelting Plant" and "Code for Energy Conservation Design of Nonferrous Metals Plant", and has participated in the compilation of one important reference book. She has published many papers of high theoretical and practical values in national kernel journals and conferences held in China and foreign countries.
