Yuan Yongqiang

Yuan Yongqiang, a famous expert in environmental engineering, acts as Vice Chief Engineer, Senior Engineer (Professor-level). He is engaged in the tailings pond, industrial solid waste landfill disposal engineering design and environmental anti-seepage technical development for 35 years, successively served as the general designer of national key projects, such as Shenzhen Xiaping sanitary landfill, won the second prize of National Award for Science and Technology Progress (1), the first prize of provincial & Ministerial Award for Science and Technology Progress (1), the second prize of provincial & Ministerial Award for Science and Technology Progress (2). He headed the team to participate in the technical innovation in the design of Zijinshan Gold-Copper Mine Project, solved the key technical problems on anti-seepage of China's non-ferrous metal  heap leaching pad, this technology won the national invention patent award. He presided over the preparation of the national code "Technical Code for Non-ferrous Metal Heap Leaching Liner System and Leachate Collection System", which improved the technical level of wet heap leaching in China's non-ferrous metal industry and realized clean production and mine environmental protection. The hydraulic engineering design team headed by him is in the leading position in the field of environmental protection and anti-seepage technology in China.
