Wei Zhongchao

Wei Zhongchao, a famous expert in mining, acts as Vice Chief Engineer of NERIN, Senior Engineer (Professor-level), National Registered Civil Engineer (Geotechnical), National Registered Mineral Reserve Appraiser, State Council Expert for Special Allowance. 

He engaged in mine design and consultation for nearly 50 years, presided over and accomplished more than 10 large-scale mine design and consultation at home and abroad.

He won the first prize of provincial & Ministerial Excellent Project Design (2), the second prize of provincial & Ministerial Science and Technology (3).

He also serves as an qualification and expert reviewer of checking national survey and design registered mining/mineral engineer, deputy director of the academic committee of mine techno-economics profession of The Nonferrous Metals Society of China, senior professional and technical position qualification expert reviewer of the State Bureau of Nonferrous Metal Industry, deputy director of the Mining Academic Committee of Jiangxi Metal Society, and part-time professor of Central South University.

In recent years, he has presided over and accomplished the world-class copper mine with hydrometallurgy-Monywa Copper Mine Project, Myanmar, a mine with complex mining conditions in the world-Chengmenshan Copper Mine Project of Jiangxi Copper Corporation Limited, Guixi Lengshuikeng Mine Field Yinzhushan Mine Area Lead-Zinc-Silver Ores EPC Project.
