Head of Projects for Rio Tinto and His Delegation Visited China Nerin
On June 26, Wu Runhua, General Manager of China Nerin, warmly received a delegation led by Charles Zimmermann, Head of Projects for Rio Tinto, at the company's headquarters. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as deepening cooperation in the mining engineering sector and advancing relevant projects.
Wu Runhua extended a hearty welcome to Charles Zimmermann and his delegation, expressing gratitude for Rio Tinto's long-standing trust and support. He elaborated on China Nerin's innovative achievements and practical experiences in recent years in areas such as full-industry-chain services in the non-ferrous metals sector and the research and development of green and low-carbon technologies. He stated that China Nerin has always adhered to the philosophy of "technology-led, serving the globe," accumulating profound technical expertise and rich project experience in engineering fields including mining, metallurgy, and environmental protection, and has successfully delivered multiple international benchmark projects. He looked forward to both sides further expanding their cooperation areas based on existing collaborations, jointly tackling industry technical challenges, achieving mutual benefits and win-win results, and jointly promoting high-quality development of the industry.
Charles Zimmermann expressed gratitude for China Nerin's warm reception and the outcomes of past collaborations, highly commending China Nerin's technical capabilities and professional standards within the industry. During the visit, both sides also conducted detailed discussions on several specific projects, focusing on optimizing technical solutions and project execution plans, and reached multiple consensus points. Both sides agreed that through a cooperative model of resource sharing and complementary advantages, not only can project execution efficiency and service quality be significantly enhanced, but greater value will also be created for both parties. This meeting further solidified the partnership between Rio Tinto and China Nerin and injected strong impetus into their coordinated development in the global mining market.
Delegates from Rio Tinto, including the HR VP Commercial and the Programme Manager - Projects, as well as He Feng, Deputy General Manager of China Nerin, and heads from China Nerin’s Marketing Department, Mine Business Unit, and other departments participated in the meeting.
