China Nerin and Rio Tinto Group signed Memorandum of Understanding on Establishment of Cooperative Partnership in Beijing
On October 27, China Nerin Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "China Nerin") and Rio Tinto Group (hereinafter referred to as "Rio Tinto"), a leading global mining company, officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (“MoU”) on Establishment of Cooperative Partnership in Beijing. Wu Runhua, Chairman and General Manager of China Nerin, Bold Baatar, Chief Commercial Officer of Rio Tinto, and Charles Zimmermann, Head of Projects for Rio Tinto attended the signing ceremony. Hu Hu, Deputy General Manager of China Nerin, Jamie Sanders, Head of Global Procurement of Rio Tinto, and Richard Ireland, General Manager of New Growth of Rio Tinto Projects - Studies, signed the MoU on behalf of their respective companies.

In his address, Charles Zimmermann stated that China has world-leading technologies and experience in the field of engineering design. Establishing cooperation with a leading Chinese engineering company marks a significant milestone in Rio Tinto’s expansion of global partnerships and represents a crucial step towards driving industry innovation and achieving sustainable development. Through such cooperations, Rio Tinto will further deepen its procurement and supply chain collaboration in China, demonstrating its unwavering commitment to operational excellence and global partnerships.
