The project owner, a national high-tech enterprise, Yidu Xingfa Chemicals Co., Ltd., is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hubei Xingfa Group, a domestic leader in the phosphate chemical industry. Deeply engaged in the entire phosphate chemical industry chain, Yidu Xingfa Chemicals focuses on the comprehensive utilization of medium- and low-grade phosphate ores and the resource recovery of phosphogypsum, possessing extensive experience and exemplary influence in solid waste treatment and green industrial upgrading.

As a representative project for national comprehensive solid waste management and the green transformation of the chemical industry, this project is listed under the encouraged category in the Catalogue for Guiding Industrial Restructuring (2024 Edition). It serves as a major practical initiative to implement national policies on phosphogypsum utilization and solid waste treatment. The project aims to establish a complete closed-loop industrial chain of "phosphogypsumsulfuric acidcement clinker," effectively resolving the solid waste disposal challenges in the phosphate chemical sector.
